Had a lovely weekend, even if it was pushing 40 degrees on Saturday. Spent Saturday night catching up with some old friends over dinner, and wore my gorgeous Forever New floral dress that has a cut-out back, perfect for hot nights!
Today my best friend and I got a CND Shellac pedicure. It's a nail polish that's kind of a mix between polish and gels, creating a glossy, hard polish that lasts for up to 4 weeks. Of course, once we'd done that, we just had to pay a visit to Pro Nail Supply in Bankstown. It's a bit far away, but for $12 OPIs and $6 China Glazes, we'll more than happily make the trek! I got OPI Let Me Entertain You, China Glaze Liquid Leather, Jitterbug and Evening Seduction. Love!
And finally, poor Lolly hasn't been coping in this heat at all. This is what she does when we take photos of her and the flash annoys her. I think it's hilarious.

ReplyDeleteAww, Lolly! I want to scoop her up and give her a cuddle but she was probably too hot at the time to want such attention. My cats were pretty immobile the whole week. One of them sat in the blast of the air conditioner (her sworn enemy) until the temperature dropped, poor thing.

Hahaha Andrea I love it! Unfortunately Lolly doesn't love cuddles at the best of times, but she was particularly grumpy when it was hot.
