This weekend us and some friends drove down to Canberra for the night for a friend's birthday. While not really a proper roadtrip, as it's only 3 hours away from Sydney, it was a fun drive nonetheless, and while my boyfriend drove, I amused myself by taking photos.
Silly me didn't actually take photos in Canberra, just on the drives there and back. I did take a photo of this gorgeous sunset last night, it was amazing! On the way back we dropped in to my mum's place, where she gave me these roses from her garden. They're currently on our dining table making the apartment smell lovely.

What beautiful photographs! Living in the city, it is so easy to forget just how gorgeous the rural landscape can be! Long cartrips are such a drainer though, so luckily 3 hours isn't too bad! Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend!

ReplyDeleteYou have the BEST skin. I love these photos! My boyfriend and I drove from Sydney to Canberra, and then from Canberra to Thredbo, and the scenery on the way was soooo pretty! I like looking out the window and feeling like I'm in Lord of the Rings or something haha.
